Job Statement:
To enhance and solidify effective client relationships by providing exceptional customer service with a primary focus on the sale of insurance while a secondary focus on client retention.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop effective client relationships by:
- Effectively advise prospect/client in the sale of insurance products including but not limited to the following lines;
- Homeowners
- Flood
- Auto
- Maintaining consistent and continuous communication with clients.
- Providing prompt and courteous service and assistance to clients as needed.
- Meeting or surpassing the customer service expectations of clients in accordance with agency standards and workflows.
- Providing needed information to and resolving problems for clients.
Performs or assists with account administration by:
- Completing client servicing tasks related to current client new business set up and applications, renewal applications, and policy research.
- Maintaining current and accurate customer databases and files.
- Assisting in account processing, including preparing proposals, ordering policies, binders, ID cards, certificates, invoicing, premium financing and processing policies.
- Understanding or determining the reasons for account cancellations or potential cancellations to prevent reoccurrences or missed opportunities to save an account.
- Resolving issues relating to accounting or client billing.
Ensures the accuracy and value of service to clients by:
- Maintaining competency and knowledge of client data including policy information, significant dates and deadlines, and changes to client records.
- Participating in seminars and other training to maintain required skill levels and enhance job and industry knowledge.
Required Job Skills –
- Preferably licensed in property & casualty insurance.
- Background in personal insurance lines.
- Ability to handle large call volumes.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking and writing.
- Exceptional relationship-development skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy for correspondence, data entry, e-mail, Internet, spreadsheets and accessing data from company systems.'

Job Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
- Record customer information within our customer service database
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
