Blue Star Donuts is looking to expand our Wholesale team! We create delicious & unforgettable mouth watering moments Every. Single. Day.


The Wholesale Account Manager plays a key role in supporting the Director of Wholesale to achieve growth strategies of our fast growing line of business! Our ideal candidate has experience working with food & beverage CPG brands, and national distributors, including Kehe & UNFI. This position requires excellent people skills with a genuine enjoyment of engaging with partners and customers!

Position Details:

The responsibilities of an Wholesale Account Manager include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Support the Director of Wholesale in day to day operations, to achieve overall department growth
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to a portfolio of accounts to develop & nurture professional relationships
  • Oversee the CPG distributor dispute process with all vendors, including Kehe & UNFI
  • Increase sales and drive national sales through marketing strategies developed by Director of Wholesale
  • Travel to trade shows, meetings, and market visits to expand business opportunities
  • Act as the main point of contact for all customer service related issues including order confirmations, delivery statuses & adjustments, product returns, etc.
  • Work independently to review KPI’s for each account, and develop strategies to improve sales performance and identify areas of improvement

  • Experience working for a small or start-up company/brand a plus
  • Possesses a positive & enthusiastic personality with a strong desire to learn

  • Demonstrates effective communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong logistics and organizational skills, with proficiency in data spreadsheets

  • Ability to be self-sufficient while handling multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Has exceptional, and engaging communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills with multitasking capabilities
  • Represents the company professionally while on & off their shift
  • Possesses exceptional attendance, and is highly reliable
  • Works well under pressure and can handle high volume effectively

Qualifications:

  • A love for donuts!!
  • An excellent fit with all Blue Star Core Values
  • An active cell phone and laptop
  • Ability to travel for research or vendor/ partner meetings as needed
  • Knowledge of and ability to work in Google Suite, Quickbooks, EDI providers
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility and availability to travel
  • Current Food Handler’s card or ServSafe certification
  • Must pass PDX background check and obtain a PDX badge
  • 3+ years proven sales experience or equivalent
  • 2+ yrs Supply Chain logistics experience or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with CPG distributors, specifically KeHE and UNFI
  • 1+ years logistics and process management experience or equivalent
