The Opportunity
The Sales Alliance Manager – OEM, Audit, and Governance role will support the team’s charter to:
- Create a centralized COE on OEMs, including an ongoing active pipeline of partnership evaluations
- Own the set-up and ongoing relationship management of new OEM relationships to drive strategic growth for Ally
- Identify key themes/trends/entrants impacting Ally’s core indirect Auto business, establish a perspective on any actions required of Ally, and present to leadership on an ongoing basis
- Provide centralized oversight over Audit and Governance activities within Sales Alliance necessary to strengthen ongoing responsibilities
The Work Itself
- Identify and analyze industry trends impacting Ally’s indirect auto business
- Aid in the development and socialization of business cases supporting potential new initiatives, partnerships, etc.
- Aid in the outreach to OEMs to cultivate strong relationships and identify new partnership opportunities for Ally
- Monitor the performance of existing OEM partnerships while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Own the coordination of all audit and governance routines within Sales Alliance. Specifically, working with cross-functional partners to ensure education/awareness, meeting deadlines, and identifying opportunities for enhancement
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred, MBA is ideal.
- 7+ years in auto lending or financial services industry is needed.
- At least 5 years leadership experience preferred.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and PowerBI.
- Ability to filter through large quantities of data and pull out themes and significant trends.
- Ability to influence cross-functional business partners
- Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
- Strong relationship building skills and experience operating within a matrix organization.
- Independent worker with strong time management skills.
- Negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
- Initiative to discover innovative ways for continuous improvement.
- Creative problem solver.
- Strong presentation skills, including ability to articulate complex problems in simple manner.
