Now Hiring - Retail Sales Horticultural Senior Customer Account Manager in Dix Hills, NY

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to become part of the team at Angel Plants in Dix Hills, New York. Angel Plants is a large, wholesale foliage plant company. Our customer base includes both big box stores as well as independent garden center retailers, florists, and landscape contractors.

Candidate must be a motivated, hardworking individual who is passionate about plants and people, willing to learn, and take on responsibility. This position will focus on generating sales through a planned sales effort, developing new accounts, and building customer relationships with key accounts. You will also direct other account managers, guiding them towards their sales goals.

Responsibilities:

· Make outgoing sales calls and emails on a scheduled basis to existing and potential new accounts.

· Provide product availability and pricing information to customers.

· Meet established sales goals.

· Lead team of account managers to deliver their sales goals.

Requirements:

· 3-4 years of retail, wholesale, or distribution related sales experience.

· Horticultural knowledge required- must be able to discuss horticultural products and specifications with customers.

· Mastery of fundamental selling skills.

· Proven record of achieving sales goals.

· Excellent oral communication and listening skills.

· Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with seasonal work demands.

· Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office suite.
