Wavenet, a manufacturer for low voltage communication cables selling to distributors all across the United States and Canada, is currently seeking an inside sales associate to join our team.

About the Job: An inside sales position has become available at our company and we are looking for those interested in joining our team.

What we're looking for: The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers. We seek all self-reliant, result driven, goal and detail oriented individuals to join our sales team. Your primary responsibility is to secure new business while continuously expanding established business as we push to establish a strong foundation in this new region.

Job Duties

• Meets all sales objectives
• High level of outbound and proactive calls to source new business opportunities
• Prospecting for new customers and follow up with sales leads
• Handling the administrative aspects of all sales
• Respond to requests from customers, prepare mailing, promotions, product samples and related collateral marketing materials
• Maintains strong knowledge & up to date of all products, pricing and competitive sales offers
• Provide critical market feedback to the Sales Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the US
• Sales experience required
• Low Voltage Wire/Cable knowledge helpful but not required
• Effective interpersonal skills & excellent communication skills
• Must be organized, able to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Basic computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
• Available to travel in US and Canada'
