Pay Range: Salary plus commission (DOE)
Working Location: Elko, NV
Territory: Western US
Travel Required: 50%
Position Summary: Sales Development of DTH and Top Hammer drilling consumables. Create customer relationships and provide services that meet the customers needs. Participate in the customer care process with an emphasis on service, support, and inventory planning.
Job duties:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Identify new customer candidates per company priorities
- Lead and participlate in a process of winning new customers; transactional and agreement based business*Promote product and service benefits to customer candidates*Present offers to customer candidates*Win chances for product testing*Coordinate product testing together with Robit*Convince customers for technical benefits together with Robit(technical negotiations)*Negotiate commercial terms (commercial negotiations) withcustomers, together with Robit when neeeded
Key Responsibilities:
- Ramping-up initial business together with NISS’ customer support people
- Provide quarterly forecast on customers’ product needs (together with Materials Manager)
- Assist in customers’ technical needs, e.g. in product problem situations, together with Robit
- Update quarterly on annual business plans and targets with Robit
- Maintain excellent ongoing relationships with existing customers
- Keep track of competitors’ actions and provide relevant market information (such as price levels, new players in the markets etc.)
- Report periodically in writing, or verbally as required
- Participate in executing and improving company marketing, incl. campaigns and exhibitions
- Contribute to NISS’ and Robit sales strategy
- Travel regionally, nationally and internationally as needed
- Execute other tasks as needed
KPI’s:
- Quarterly sales volume of Robit drilling consumables/Sales volume of all drilling consumables
- Number of new customers (>$0 sales) per quarter
- Gross margin percentage of quarterly sales of drilling consumables
Required Qualifications:
- 4-5 years in sales required
- 1-2 years sales experience in the mining industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
