JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting up meetings for the sales team, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of our products and services, a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals. In this role, SDR will market the GrooveCar and CU Xpress Lease product to select credit unions in select markets around the country. SDR will work with a team of marketing and sales professionals to generate leads, qualify opportunities and schedule initial meetings and demonstrations for the direct sales force.
· Generate leads through outbound cold-calling & calling on marketing-generated & inbound leads (inside sales)
· Meet monthly and quarterly meeting objectives
· Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the GrooveCar (GC) and CU Xpress Lease (CUXL) product and value proposition
· Work with field sales to develop and execute Account Based Sales Development strategies targeting the right person at the right time, with the right message.
· Provide weekly accurate approved meeting forecasts to the sales organization and executive management
· Navigating complex prospect environments to align the prospect around the GC and CUXL solutions both before and after the product demo
· Utilizing GrooveCar’s value-based selling methodology and Salesforce.com to manage sales processes and accurately forecast business
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Strong technical aptitude to learn the GrooveCar and CU Xpress Lease product quickly
- Consultative selling skills with ability to form relationship with prospects
- Ability to understand and navigate through complex selling environments
- Proven ability to meet and exceed a sales quota
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Account Executive, Inside Sales, or a similar role.
SKILLS/ABILITY:
· Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and Microsoft Office.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
· Strong analytical and organizational skills.
· Track record of achieving sales quotas.
· Discipline to maintain high call volumes.
· Familiarity with sales performance metrics.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
