Description:
The Direct Sales Supervisor will serve a critical role for the residential door to door sales team. This position strives to provide support for a team of Direct Sales Representatives in all aspects of the sales process; before, during and after as well as coaching, training and feedback. Further, the DSS will be a selling leader who will be accountable to delivering on sales objectives of their own. The primary objective for the DSS will be to help maintain field activity for their reps, model, teach and coach the sales process and drive results for the organization while assisting the Regional Sales Manager in other prescribed duties of the role.
Essential Job Functions:
· Directly supports the Regional Sales Manager with all responsibilities related to delivering results that drive profitable growth and increasing market penetration.
· Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new DSR’s.
· Leads, trains, coaches and develops a team of 4-12 DSRs.
· In partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, the Direct Sales Supervisor is responsible for all aspects related to the performance management of the DSR team they support. This includes tracking results, communicating KPI’s, setting clear expectations, delivering timely feedback, following up on daily/weekly/monthly goals, and holding individuals accountable to high performance standards.
· Responsible for leading from the front and implementing strategies that result in the successful attainment of individual and team sales targets. Traveling in the field, side-by-side selling and selling directly from the front is essential.
· Mentors employees to ensure equitable treatment of all staff members in accordance with company policy and practices, and to be certain they are doing their best for themselves and the company.
· Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual targets.
· Designate and communicate territory assignments to DSR team ensuring alignment with market penetration goals.
· Executes a wide range of residential customer acquisition strategies including door-to-door, prospecting, events, information sessions and pop-ups.
· Ensures the sales team is fully equipped with the necessary tools, information, knowledge, and skills to successfully support customers and meet or exceed performance goals.
· Prioritizes continuous improvement and employee development by coordinating and leading various training initiatives using internal and external resources.

- Willingness to support and contribute to team members during daily team calls and interactions is important.
- Local travel to prospecting locations in your own vehicle. (Mileage allowance is provided.)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and various business contacts.

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Strong written and oral communication skills, experience in customer relations, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
· Previous sales and/or sales support experience a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
· Compensation will be a combination of base salary plus monthly commissions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
