The inside sales support administrator (ISA) position is responsible to providing direct support to the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that Knox meets or exceeds its growth goals. Develops and maintains relationships with key customer contacts, proactively providing information to include product, pricing and delivery that satisfies Customer expectations and/or requests. Manage and maintain accounts from quotation through completed orders
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Sales Managers on completing quotations, establishing customer headers, obtaining pricing and contract approvals.
- Understand and maintain knowledge of Knox product portfolio. Demonstrate ability to match customer needs to Knox products.
- Professionally respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and/or chat.
- Coordinate order flow from production though shipping to achieve Customer order date and fill rate expectations.
- Keep management informed of Customer feedback, potential bottlenecks and limitations that would negatively impact performance.
- Able to perceive situations, prioritize and respond in a manner that is a positive reflection of the Knox brand.
- Tracks sales leads and maintains target lists.
- Multitask to ensure efficient utilization of time.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
At least two (2) years of consistent work experience of which at least one (1) year must be consistent work experience in a customer service-related capacity.
NetSuite ERP system is a plus.
Graduation from high school or GED required.
1-3 years’ experience in similar role.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Ability to communicate fluently in English while taking customer calls and interacting with others.
· Ability to read and write fluently in English at a 12th grade level. Must be able to comprehend complex instructions, lengthy correspondence, and more complicated documents in English.
· Work professionally and constructively with the department manager and co-workers; to enhance teamwork and foster positive working relationships.
· Ability to apply a high degree of common sense while interacting with all customers and co-workers.
· Ability to carry out more complex instructions, follow specific directions, and deal with highly variable circumstances and constant change.
· Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and division.
· Demonstrate a high level of proficiency on Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and other programs as necessary.
· Demonstrate ability to utilize office tools such as a fax, copier, scanner and calculator.
