Full description of the position

We seek a motivated Sales Engineer to join our seed-stage startup. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO to prospect, qualify, and close deals with highly technical buyers. You will own the sales pipeline, manage a customer CRM database, and help build the sales architecture at Parallel Fluidics. The ideal candidate is comfortable with uncertainty and has the ability to come up with systematic solutions to open-ended problems. We value individual ability and drive more than experience. Responsibilities:

  • Build a deep understanding of the advantages, requirements, and features of our development platform.
  • Engage customers to understand their application. Identify key learnings that will inform our product roadmap. Take detailed notes to capture insights.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate our value proposition to qualified leads.
  • Review customers’ designs for compatibility with our manufacturing process. Communicate necessary changes and quickly prepare quotes.
  • Own the customer pipeline. Ensure that potential leads are provided all of the information they need to move through the sales process quickly and efficiently.
  • Own the CRM database. Ensure customer data remains up-to-date and accurate. Run reports to quantify and compare commercialization efforts.
  • Work closely with the executive team to improve the sales process and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends in microfluidics and digital manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Deep technical expertise in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or microfluidics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to close deals.
  • Strong organization and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and dynamically in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
