Job Details
Counter Sales Clerks have direct contact with the customer. Counter Sales Clerks greet customers, determine the customer’s needs, describe merchandise to the customers and answer the customer’s questions. Additionally, a sales clerk is responsible for entering and pulling orders as well as completing customer transactions. They are expected to compute sales prices and process the order. Counter Sales Clerks are expected to keep up to date on current sales, promotions and policies regarding products, payments, exchanges, etc.

Other Roles & Functions
Counter Sales Clerks may need to provide product demonstrations to customers. Additionally, they will be required to answer the store phone. All Young Supply employees are expected to follow safety protocols at all times, and employees in safety sensitive positions must agree to participate in ongoing training while they are employed.
All Young Supply employees are required to comply with Federal, State and company policies, procedures and regulations.

Requirements:- Exceptional customer relations skills
- Knowledgeable in HVAC-R service/sales
- Basic computer skills, including but not limited to using order management software
- Able to handle multiple assignments at once
Preferred
- Two years of industry experience
- Comfortable answering the phone and making calls on behalf of the company
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
