Cabinetry Designer Salesperson

Southlinks Custom Cabinetry (a McGarvey Custom Homes Affiliation) seeks to inspire its clients by creating one-of-a-kind, high-end contemporary, transitional, and traditional interiors for the Southwest Florida Market and outlying areas. We are seeking a highly motivated designer/cabinetry sales professional who is well versed in the design process from conceptual design development, material research and selection, and bidding through purchasing, production, and installation. The perfect candidate enjoys working independently.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of direct phone and in person cabinet sales experience
• Proficient in Cad software, 3D renderings, Mozak design
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to prioritize and schedule workflow.
• Must be knowledgeable in furniture and cabinet construction and industry vocabulary. The proven ability for critical thinking and problem solving through design problems is essential.
• Ability to read shop drawings or architectural drawings for construction.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Using candidate's existing industry contacts, call on contractors, designers, architects, and homeowners, to generate projects to bid and close sales.
• Execute design direction to produce all necessary design renderings..
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and sub-contractors for procurement and purchasing.
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to verify the necessity of any proposed change orders.
• Partner with the owner and other team members to impart, implement and monitor interior design standards.
• Possible attendance of local trade shows and networking events to acquire leads
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation

Pay: Commisions & Salary are Negotiable based on Experience and Qualifications
