Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Sells and makes recommendations to customers of the various solutions the company offers to their sleep experience.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ensure that visual merchandising standards are followed in the showroom location.
- Maintain updated knowledge of inventory, including mattress details and customization options.
- Ability to give effective presentation of product lines. Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.
- Responsible for developing client relationships and referrals.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales. Coordinates shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise.
- Responsible for ensuring that customer receives product in an efficient and timely manner.
- Aid customers in finding excellent matches for their needs.
- Initiate pleasant interactions with customers/vendors.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Ensure that company policy is followed regarding cleanliness of the mattress showroom.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Associate’s degree or equivalent sales experience
- 10 years plus in furniture sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
