Full description of the position

Career development opportunity in sales/business development, specifically in property and casualty insurance lines. The position primarily involves a multi-tasking approach, from frequent cold calling, to face-to-face interaction with clients leads, including documentation completion for various tasks. The position is measured on a monthly performance evaluation base in order to ensure corresponding benchmarks are being met. The individual will be located at our office location, reporting directly to the Agency Manger/Sales Leadership.

*Must be Licensed in P& C or have Personal lines of insurance

Essential Responsibilities:

Sales

• New client list generation
• Prospecting through “winback”.
• Building network of referrals – (e.g. realtors, car dealers, mortgage lenders, etc.)
• Requote previous renewals
• Cross sales of existing clients
• Outreach/promotion through engagement of various social media platforms
• Random handling of walk ins and online inquires

Administration

• Quote generation through agency systems
• Routine postal/e-mailing of sale proposal packets

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
