National Account Executive
McClay’s Logistics USA, LLC. (a leading 3PL/logistics brokerage located in Warren, MI) is actively hiring individuals with sales and customer service experience.
McClay’s is seeking an innovative National Account Executive to develop relationships with accounts, identify new partnerships and proactively deliver reliable communication.
As a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing new business in the freight market and managing operations within your book of business. As a National Account Executive, you will play a vital role identifying new business opportunities by quoting daily shipment request, communicating updates throughout a shipments transit, and relaying those variances to the correct party. You will be introduced and confident with McClay’s technology platforms and develop an understanding of how to forecast freight market conditions. You will perform pinpoint operational tasks for our carrier/customer relationships from pick to delivery to billing for each shipment while simultaneously keeping a focus on expanding your book of business.
Responsibilities (Sales/Operations)
- Maintain excellent communication with customers.
- Professional collaboration and coordination with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers.
- Manage shipments through all phases (pick, delivery, billing), fast-paced problem resolution
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing while proactively notifying client of any changes
- Communicate honestly, communicate effectively to all carriers and customers when discrepancies or transit delays are recognized.
- Consistently manage an evolving sales pipeline that is filled with engaged qualified leads
- Consistently achieve daily goals through sales touchpoints and task activities
- Review sales activities and prospective customers with management
- Collaborate on pricing strategy and account implementation plans
- Warm and cold calling to develop new customer relationships
- Provide a level of customer service and genuine approach that promotes win-win scenarios for all parties

Qualifications:
- Team player mentality
- Sales or cold calling experience preferred
- 2 years brokerage house sales experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 2+ years customer service experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitask
- Willingness to be available after hours and weekends if needed
- Self-starter with strong organization & effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
