TrueNorth Companies is actively searching for an Account Manager of Employee Benefits to join its team. This role will work out of West Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA locations.

As an Account Manager of Employee Benefits, you will support the Employee Benefit's accounts including clients, insurance companies, and producers. This will include providing primary oversight of mid and large group fully insured employer benefit programs.

Job Duties:

• Accurately manage client accounts and ensure all deadlines are met
• Assist in marketing and placing new business and/or renewal business
• Prepare renewals of insurance
• Meet with producer and service teams to ensure service levels are being met
• Communicate and partner with insurance companies to ensure we are meeting on the client expectations
• Collect and report information and generate stewardship reports
• Communicate with clients and answer questions regarding their policies and/or services provided by TrueNorth
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, both internal and external

Travel or visit insurance companies and/or clients, when necessary

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, required; college degree, preferred
• 3 years of experience in health insurance/benefits and Account Management experience
• Current Life, Health & Accident License or ability to obtain in 90 days
