Now Hiring - Sales Representative in Chattanooga, TN

We are looking for a Welding Sales Representative to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will have had hands-on experience with fabrication and welding processes. Additional experience includes the ability to manage multiple assignments and re-prioritize work with complete autonomy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions.
• Prioritizes concurrent customer's demands and provides satisfactory service to all.
• Lead all aspects of the sales process, solution development, proposal delivery, close, implementation, follow up
• Manage customer expectations and satisfaction
• Achieve sales quotas and profit margins
• Assistance with Project Management of current customers
• Assesses and analyzes business capabilities to develop products and offerings while using this information to identify sales opportunities.
• Develop new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information
• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails, and Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Report to the Business Owner on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience in Sales within construction, fabrication, or welding business
• Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to deliver engaging presentations

Required Length & Type of Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience to include proven experience and success in solution-selling concepts and a demonstrated history of managing customers throughout a defined sales territory.
• Welding and Fabrication estimating experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
