We're excited to grow our senior management team at Pharmaworks by adding a new Director of Sales. Our Director of Sales is responsible for leading and directing the sales, sales support, and marketing teams. You'll provide strategic and technical insight on overall company strategies, sales and marketing initiatives, product development, and increasing market share. How will you measure success of your initiatives and direction? Through the growth of order intake, revenue, and EBITDA.

  • Develop and optimize a sales structure and strategy that will meet/exceed revenue and gross margin objectives while expanding the customer base in the Pharma, Nutra, Biopharm, and related industries
  • Plan and execute on the sales initiatives and strategies. Includes initiatives to leverage and grow non-Pharma market segments
  • Grow the company’s market share by identifying and acquiring new customers while successfully maintaining positive client relationships
  • Be a source of leadership and inspiration that will foster teamwork and profitability
  • Coach, teach, and develop team members to achieve optimal performance and job satisfaction; develop and maintain a technically competent agent network
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement a marketing strategy that focuses on short- and long-term objectives
  • Manage the fixed costs of the department so that budget is managed and optimized
  • Develop internal and external communication process that keeps the teams informed and contributes to the team philosophy
  • Maintain close communication with Marketing and Engineering to strategize and develop new products for the marketplace
  • Provide direct support to the preparation of quotes
  • Provide vision to lead the company into new products and markets that will complement and grow our existing businesses
  • Continue to develop Pro Mach’s philosophy of an open, communicative, and trusting work environment
  • Establish profitable and competitive pricing based on technical and cost data provided

  • BA or BS in Sales, Business or related field
  • Successful track record in leading sales efforts of capital equipment/materials, through internal and agent networks; experience in pharmaceutical packaging experience is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in building and leading a national sales team. Experience developing sales channels and revenue outside North America a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proven history of maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Understands how to optimize the use of a CRM to analyze and execute on the data; familiarity with Salesforce is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to train, develop, evaluate, and supervise sales associates and reps
  • Demonstrated ability to sell ideas, concepts, and programs both internally and externally
  • Experience with consultative, solution selling
  • Proven ability to prospect and develop new accounts, as well as maintain and renew existing accounts
  • Proven ability to translate client needs into concrete solutions
  • Experience setting product/project scope parameters, setting pricing policies, and contract negotiation
  • Willing to travel at least 40-50% of the time nationally and occasionally on international basis
