Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative supports sales and cross-functional teams by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information; resolving problems.
Duties/Job Function:
- Maintains database by inputting invoice and bill-back data.
- Updates managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
- Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.
- Responsible for daily order allocation
- Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
- Responsible for understanding inventory reports and acting on available dimension codes
- Forwards samples by entering request; arranging shipment; notifying consumer.
- Maintains consumer database by inputting consumer profile and updates, preparing and distributing monthly reports.
- Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced Excel: V-look ups, pivot tables and ability to analyze and summarize data
- JDE Edwards experience preferred
- Effective and proactive communication
- Ability to multi-task and effective organization skills
- 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferably in retail and/or apparel industry
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer focused service.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction and meet deadlines on tasks/projects.
- Previous experience in retail preferred.
Other job Details:
- Salary Range: $20.00-$23.00/hourly
- Status: Full, Time Non-Exempt
- Reports to: Customer Service Manager
