SB Specialty Metals offers an excellent career opportunity for a highly motivated, independent individual with career interests in technical steel sales.

The position is based in Michigan and the sales territory includes geographic regions within Michigan, Canada and Western USA.

The Outside Sales Representative will be directly responsible for increasing topline revenue and the customer base within their territory. A minimum of 50% travel is expected for Customer visitation and business development.

The individual must enjoy working in a dynamic fast paced environment and have the desire & motivation for career advancement within the steel industry. This individual must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with Marketing or Business Major

-or-

• 5+ years of Outside Sales experience in the specialty steel industry (preference will be given to individuals with specific TOOL STEEL sales experience)
• Established career interests and aptitude in sales
• Computer literacy
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to interact and team build with customers and colleagues
