Automotive Dealership General Manager in Decatur, GA
-We're a small independent but fast growing car dealership located in Decatur and Lithonia GA. We are currently looking for an energetic and self motivated individual to join our growing team. Applicants must be dependable, enthusiastic, customer service oriented and results driven. We need people who have the ability to work as team players as well as work independently.
Qualifications
-At least 2 years of Automotive retail General Manager / Dealership Owner experience
-Should have at least 2 years of dealership sales and 2 years in a supervisory position
-Should have at least 2 years of financing/desking experience
-Strong used car management skills required
-Must have strong leadership abilities
-Must have strong organizational and time management skills
-Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability
-Team oriented
-Process driven and a hands on leadership with Desking, Training, Team Building and possess a complete understanding of the Sales, Finance, and Service departments
-Steady work and performance history
-Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
-Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
-Basic MS office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency
Job responsibilities included but not limited to:
-Hiring all positions, completing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for each department (includes administrative, sales, parts, collision and service departments)
-Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval
-Effectively communicating with the comptroller / office manager on a weekly basis to review departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections
-Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary
-Explaining the policies and procedures of the dealership to all employees and following up with employees to ensure that these issues are understood and followed
-Providing dealership management with weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership
-Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management / dealership owners
-Coordinating with the business / administrative office to ensure that records and analyses are correctly maintained
-Creating a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel and maintaining these relationships
-Coordinating regular meetings with associates to ensure their profitability and efficiency
-Maintaining an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale
-Overseeing and maintaining compensation plans for all employees
-Creating cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership
-Focusing on any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify and taking the necessary steps to resolve these complaints
-Managers are required to stay abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations affecting their operations and comply with them, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations

Weekly Pay + Commission and Bonuses!

Pay: $60,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
