CarrierX is a scalable CPaaS platform and telecom API provider with its own network, giving developers powerful tools to build enterprise-ready applications and services.

We are seeking our first sales engineer and developer advocate to assist customers, starting from the sales process and continuing through the implementation phases. An ideal fit would be someone with broad technical knowledge, the ability to pick up new topics quickly, and experience supporting developers using an API product.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with potential customers by providing walkthroughs, building proof-of-concept demos, and offering implementation guidance.
  • Create technical resources such as tutorials, quick start guides, sample applications and documentation.
  • Assist customers with regulatory compliance in the voice and SMS ecosystems.
  • Represent customer needs internally, working with engineering and documentation teams to ensure customer onboarding success.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, or sales engineering on an API product
  • Proficient in full-stack engineering. We use a lot of Python, Javascript, and React.
  • Experience working with REST APIs. Ability to jump in to new problem domains quickly.
  • Ability to work directly with end customers and represent their needs internally.

Location:

  • We are located in Long Beach, CA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
