Base Camp Cyclery is looking for an experienced bicycle mechanic for our new Castle Rock location. We are a locally owned, independent bike shop, located near the Castle Rock Outlets with immediate trail access from our shop. We specialize in mountain and gravel bike sales, but service everything.

This position will be to lead our service department. Duties will include managing weekly service schedule, service writing, tunes, builds, and ordering as needed. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, and passionate about all types of cycling

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years workshop experience
• Extensive knowledge of bicycle assembly and maintenance
• High level sales skills
• Able to work full time Tuesday through Saturday
• Microsoft Office and Google Suite literate

Preferred qualifications:

• E-bike literate with Shimano, Bosh, and Mahle knowledge
• Sram AXS literate
• Shimano Di2 literate
• Comfortable selling service and spending time on the sales floor

Responsibilities:

• Daily workshop operations, including servicing bicycles, checking new repairs
• Answering phones and providing top tier customer service in the workshop
• Helping to maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the shop as a whole

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
