Description
Primary responsibilities include
- Drive the specific tactical planning and implementation for the Markets
- Provide feedback on sales performance that the RDs and RMs can leverage in driving sales accountability with their market and regional team
- Identify market performance trends and gaps in production. Provide recommendations on action plans to address areas of deficiency to RD/DSM in collaboration with Sales Effectiveness and Execution Manager
- Assist Retail Director in aligning goals for the market and goal distribution across the regions/branches; including adjustments as needed or as circumstances arise.
- Liaison for key partnership to the business line within the market including Wealth, Business Banking, Lending, Deposits, Retail Incentive, Marketing and Communications
- Manage the integrity of the incentive plan by translating, reinforcing, and educating colleagues on plan details.
- Manage the daily inquiry/exception process and quarterly incentive roster, discretionary and payout process
- Possesses personal accountability to the achievement of their assigned market’s targets.
- Participate in enterprise level projects and assignments in addition to market responsibilities as needed. Travel may be required.
- Create market wide sales events and the roll-out of quarterly/monthly campaigns and/or new products
- Assist/Support the coaching and on-boarding of Regional Managers
- Develop content at the market level and facilitate presentations to address skill building needs for all job families.
- Prepare agenda topics and content for delivery at team meetings. (Varies by market)
- Provide field intel and feedback to business line leaders on products, promotions, and execution to optimize offerings and advance the business network wide.
- Serve as a culture carrier and role model in support of Citizens Credo
- Serve as industry subject matter expert inclusive of understanding and sharing market trends and the competitor landscape.
- Serve as a backup for the Retail Director or District Sales Manager in their absence or for support as needed.
- Supports identification of top talent within the market to build bench strength
- Support key meetings such as town halls, franchise meetings and workshops
Qualifications
- Experience as a Regional Manager with a 10+ multi-location span of control or equivalent with proven track record of Coaching a Coach, managing process and performance successfully.
- Ability to interpret and distill data into useful information to implement coaching plans for Region Managers based on market and region performance.
- Ability to create coaching plans grounded in Leader Led practice, synthesized with behaviors and activities to generate outcomes of acquiring or deepening relationships with customers.
- Ability to engage multiple types of audiences effectively in peer environments, various business line meetings/calls and workshops spanning all roles in the market up to corporate Senior Executives.
- Must possess elevated written, communication and influencing skills to communicate a business case/justification, the “why”, local, and corporate strategies, expectations with highly skilled follow-up techniques and clear ability to deliver a cohesive message.
- Must be able to demonstrate accelerated engagement connecting culture, business strategies and outcomes.
- Must demonstrate agility and flexibility in decision making, assessments, recommendations and teamwork
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
