The Vice President of Sales is an experienced leader of sales people, with a great track record of leading teams and driving growth. This individual needs to be a credible leader of talented people, inspiring confidence, and trust. The VP of Sales guides development of the Ripple Junction Wholesale sales team through brand presentation and sales methodology as well as setting performance expectations. The VP of Sales will have the ability to motivate, attract, and retain high performance teams while holding them accountable. The ability to articulate the strategy, positioning, and direction clearly and compellingly is critical. Crucial experience for this role includes employee management, experienced consultative sales skills, ability to identify target markets and/or customers and recognizing sales cycles with varying durations. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
  • 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years of CRM use in a management position
  • Sales experience in the wholesale apparel industry, or relevant field is a big plus
  • Relevant established relationships in relevant fields another plus
  • Willing and able to travel 25% or more with sales team individuals (ride alongs)
  • Proven track record of managing high-performance teams that exceed performance expectations
  • Proven record of creating new successful processes and improving existing ones
  • Experience building out large-scale sales strategies with complex dependencies and effective resource management including account planning, revenue forecasting, program management, and opportunity assessment for the short term and on an annual basis
  • Familiar with apparel licensing process, controls and requirements a plus
  • Computer competency (Windows, Microsoft suite)
  • Brand and partnership development experience
  • Embody and personify the Ripple Junction story and values
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills
  • Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, decision making, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and cross-functional peers to support deadlines

Salary Range: Base Salary, 50% MBO.
