Vehlo is a leading provider of software and financial solutions for the automotive repair industry. We have a high-growth, high-performance environment – growing organically over 27% in 2021. Our customers are auto repair and collision locations as well as new and used dealerships, where we provide management systems, payment services, communications tools, scheduling modules as well as accounting and finance packages.


As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading an outside sales team in a specified territory. Your primary focus will be on driving sales of shop management software and other services offered in the aftermarket industry. Your experience in aftermarket field sales, SAAS sales, outside sales recruiting, and sales management will be essential in achieving success in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and Manage Outside Sales Team: Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop a team of independent sales contractors within the designated territory. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team that meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Territory Sales Planning: Take ownership of the territory sales plan and quota targets. Develop a strategic approach to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration within the assigned territory. Develop strong understanding of market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Direct Sales: Drive sales efforts by actively engaging with prospects and customers. Effectively communicate the value proposition of shop management software and other services offered by the company. Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  • Product Expertise: Learn and develop a strong expertise in the company's products, with a specific focus on shop management software. Stay up-to-date with product enhancements and industry trends. Provide guidance and support to the sales team regarding product knowledge.
  • Sales Enablement Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales enablement team to develop processes, implement tools, and create a playbook specifically for the outside sales channel. Ensure the team has the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively sell the company's offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in aftermarket field sales, SAAS sales, outside sales recruiting, and sales management.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills to recruit, train, and motivate a sales team.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive sales growth and market expansion.
  • Proficiency in sales CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
