We are an award-winning full-service brand located in Cleveland, Ohio who specializes in creating and maintaining unique and unparalleled dramatic outdoor living spaces. We are actively searching for an experienced Account Manager with a proven track record to service our recurring book of business and achieve gross profit objectives through leadership and management of staff, while meeting contractual commitments to customers in a timely, high-quality manner. We pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for not only our clients but our team members as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining customer relationships to ensure all contractual obligations are met and ensure a long-term commitment.
• Upselling and suggesting enhancements to customers to bring more value to all involved.
• Effectively managing labor and equipment to effectively meet gross profit objectives.
• Motivate staff, maintain high employee morale and employee retention.
• Accountability to ensure safety is a top priority.
• Establishing and monitoring guidelines to determine field labor requirements.
• Training, leading, motivating, and evaluating maintenance crew team members.
• Helping to create and follow our annual financial plan.

Requirements

• Willingness to work alongside the crews you are responsible for managing as needed.
• Account management experience in the landscape industry.
• Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) applications.
• Able to work independently, communicate effectively, and adequately answer customer questions.
• It is critical that this individual be energetic, motivated and have the drive necessary to maintain and grow relationships.
• Landscape industry experience is strongly preferred, but not a requirement.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Working knowledge of basic financial statements.
