About This Position

Skuid is searching for an experienced Vice President of Sales who will hire, motivate and mentor a culture of continued success. Reporting to the CEO, this position will lead a field sales team dedicated to driving top-line growth. To be successful, you will need to be an enthusiastic, engaging, and determined leader who will thrive in a high-growth, ever-changing, and ambiguous environment.

Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in the enterprise software industry managing and leading extended teams to success. This person must have an extensive background in SaaS, complex solution-selling, and hiring great individual contributor talent to meet high-growth ARR goals.


Responsibilities

  • Hire, lead, develop, and manage an extended team of field-based sales representatives across US and Canada geographic regions who are responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by building territory revenue.
  • Identify, recommend, and manage opportunities for growth for both individual and team performance.
  • Motivate assigned team to exceed objectives through coaching, performance management, and creative incentives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships internally, with other departments and externally, with customers and partners, with a focus on strategic relationships.
  • Perform regular pipeline reviews and accurately forecast sales pipeline.
  • Create and execute on innovative demand generation activities to drive increased awareness, opportunity pipeline, interest and opportunity development.
  • Developing and accomplishing a revenue growth plan. Exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual performance targets.
  • Responsible for the interest to referral commercial strategy. This includes driving alignment of the strategy and execution across the company.
  • Responsible for the functions of business development, sales, alliances and partners.
  • Hire, coach, and energize team members. Ensure the team is coached and mentored for direct and partner engaged complex enterprise sale scenarios.
  • Actively remove any barriers to create an environment that promotes and encourages team work and client success across the business.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations when securing new accounts and enterprise renewals.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap representing the voice of the customer and thought leadership in the space.
  • Develop executive level presentations that succinctly and persuasively communicate our performance and strategy to employees, the leadership team and the board of directors.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry sales experience with at least 5 years of experience managing teams of field-based sales representatives.
  • Proven and demonstrated B2B enterprise software sales leadership in helping to build and sustain a high performing team of enterprise and commercial field sales representatives.
  • Team-based success with a proven ability to exceed quotas on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to identify client pains and develop unique value propositions to turn customers into raving, lunatic fans of Skuid.
  • Outstanding communication, presentative, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with all levels in an organization.
  • Work cooperatively with Marketing to generate opportunity pipeline.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
