Position Role Type:

Collins Aerospace is searching for a customer account manager who will manage both the OEM and aftermarket customer base for our organization. In this role, you will become an expert with your customers and will act as the voice of the customer within the business, while working independently to drive closure on customer inquiries and facilitate discussions within business to engage the required team to solve issues on behalf of customer.

You will be responsible for customer portal management and understanding the customer contracts to ensure PO processing compliance. You will also maintain expert level status on the customer to assist the business on understanding customer perspective and ensure quotes, and orders are processed accurately, and customer reporting is provided timely. You will participate in tracking customer claims and managing overdue and disputed accounts receivables. You will ensure we delight the customer.

This is a Hybrid role, based out of our Anaheim site. A Remote option is available for highly qualified candidates.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer performance for all aspects for contract / purchase order administration.
  • Make presentations to customers as needed.
  • Host customer visit – either at customer location or at company site
  • Analyze customer data trends to support demand decision changes
  • Contributor to managing the customer on time delivery (OTD)
  • Support and engage in root cause analysis to support customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for customer portal management and reporting
  • Authorized owner for license requirements and tracking of license consumption, if applicable
  • Knowledge and ability to address complexity customer-based problems and implement resolution
  • Manage customer account receivables by monitoring all invoices

Qualifications/Experience Required:

Typically requires:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

  • High proficiency in MS Office suite & experience with SAP
  • Basic understanding of export regulations, customs valuation and jurisdiction/classification of commodities and technology

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
