Summary
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for growing the business through customer acquisition. In this role, the Sales Development Representative will be responsible for partnering with innovative, progressive health systems to help improve their entire digital patient experience. A successful Sales Development Representative will uncover new business opportunities while working hand in hand with our marketing, client success, product, and engineering teams to provide value and expertise to all of our partners. Reporting to the Manager of Sales Development, the Sales Development Representative must demonstrate a strategic mindset with exceptional prospecting skills, relationship-oriented skills, and persistence. May involve up to 20% travel (approx. duration of trips are 2-3 days typically).
- Researches and creates target prospecting lists using tools such as Google, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Definitive Healthcare.
- Responsible for reaching out to prospects using a mix of calls, emails, and other communication mediums.
- Creates a great first impression to prospects with a friendly and professional attitude, compelling message and consistent follow-up.
- Educates and develops prospects into qualified opportunities.
- Works with the sales team by scheduling joint discovery calls that will transition into product demonstrations by the sales executives.
- Maintains accurate and detailed accounts, contacts, opportunities and sales activities in the CRM and sales engagement platform.
- Gains a solid understanding of the healthcare industry and becomes a trusted advisor on the ever-evolving trend of consumerism.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1 year of sales experience is preferred.
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM and sales engagement technologies is preferred.
- Experience working in or with the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Experience and familiarity with using Google Workspace is preferred.
- Experience working within a software as a service (SaaS) company is preferred.
- Experience working within a high growth and/or ambiguous environment, with proven experience to be dynamic is preferred.
