Job Summary:
Raising Cane's River Center, a multi-venue property featuring an arena, theater, ballroom, exhibition hall, and meeting rooms, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager. Under direct supervision of the General Manager, the successful candidate will plan, direct, and implement the sponsorship sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities, foster profitable long-term relationships with corporate and small business sponsors, and contribute to the overall financial success of our entertainment venue. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of establishing and delivering on sales goals and developing strategies that increase profitability and recurring net revenues.
Responsibilities:
Establish and deliver on sales goals specific to each facet of Raising Cane's River Center, driving profitability and annual recurring net revenues. Develop and execute venue-specific sales plans and programs to ensure the growth and expansion of revenues across all venues. Research, analyze, and monitor local and regional financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities. Develop and recommend pricing strategies that result in profitable growth of the sponsorship marketplace for each venue. Prepare bi-weekly reports on sales revenue pipeline and projections. Utilize the Sponsor United platform to identify best contacts, strategies, and solutions for prospective local and regional sponsors. Deliver engaging and informative presentations to internal and external stakeholders about sponsorship opportunities specific to Raising Cane's River Center and its various venues. Foster a productive, team-oriented relationship with staff, clients, and agencies associated with each venue. Be available to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event schedule. Travel as necessary for client meetings and networking events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of three (3) years in venue, property, or rights holder sponsorship sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to work independently, exercise judgment and initiative with minimal supervision. Demonstrated success in prospecting, cold calling, maintaining client relations, and salesmanship. Strong ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions. Proficiency with standard office equipment and personal computer(s) using MS-DOS, MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions: Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Physical requirements include feel and reach with hands and arms, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods of time.
