POSITION OVERVIEW:

Primary duty is to identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources provided by the agency; to build relationships with clients; and, to represent the company both professionally and respectfully.

This position is commissioned. To aid new sales agents in getting up-and-running, there is also a diminishing salary the first two years of employment.

DUTIES:

• Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources
• Work with carriers to find best fit for motor carrier's operation
• Prepare comprehensive quote documents for prospective clients
• Maintain all client activity in the agency automation system
• Maintain follow up items in a timely manner
• Assist clients and company with claims related inquiries
• Meet with clients and make recommendations regarding their insurance needs
• Cross sell and account rounding
• Utilize discretion and independent judgment
• Maintain good working relationships between various companies and other outside companies, agencies and organizations
• Meet sales goals as established by management
• Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay
