Inside Sales Specialist (Technical) - Tymetal Corp.
Established in 1985, Tymetal Corp. headquartered in Greenwich, NY, has an opportunity for a self-motivated, sales driven individual with a technical aptitude. This position will join our highly successful Specification and Design Team who work diligently to identify projects across the US and around the world where our products can provide an excellent solution.
This talented individual will consult and support our client base of architects/engineers and work to help them find project specific security solutions while ensuring that Tymetal products are utilized in the construction of their projects. Our Technical Sales Specialist will also assist our inside sales team as needed to develop quotations and respond to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities of our Inside Sales Specialist include:
- Train with our experienced team of Specification and Design Associates to learn Tymetal Security equipment and the various applications.
- Respond via phone and email to requests for product info and site design assistance relative to Tymetal product integration.
- Identify, qualify via outbound phone calls and track construction projects that offer an opportunity for Tymetal products by searching Industry Reports.
- Work with the project architect/engineer to find a Tymetal solution to meet their needs.
- Coordinate with the Tymetal Engineering team to provide conceptual design proposals for design clients.
- Provide product information, drawings, specifications, ASTM and UL guidance to architects and facility owners.
- Aggressively seek to have the Tymetal product(s) included in construction project bid documents.
- Communicate all leads to the Regional Sales Manager and Inside Sales Associate.
- Attend and participate in weekly Regional Sales Team meetings.
Qualifications for our Inside Sales Specialist include:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce [CRM].
- An understanding of the construction process and mechanical concepts.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and a two year degree in an engineering or technical field is desired.
