About the role
Responsible for strategic management oversight for marketing, business reporting, insourcing/outsourcing of services to support team. Proficient on understanding and using fundamental and innovative concepts, practices and procedures associated with real estate finance, including commercial appraising, market analysis, and investment analysis. Potential to provide supervision of staff, leading project teams, conducting training, serving as mentor, technical advisor, etc.
What you'll do
- Act as a project lead, including supervisory and/or managerial activities, in the coordination of the analyst team to successfully complete specified projects.
- Advise a team of production support staff to ensure their work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create and lead one or all of the following processes: marketing, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and management reporting, consolidated financial reporting, etc. Report project status updates, performance and raise issues to senior leadership management and other key project partners.
- Own the presentation and proposal process from inception to completion; prepare intricate presentations and proposals for new business development; provides recommendations with a focus that materials meet branding and messaging standards.
- Review internal/external collateral materials, proofread content to ensure appropriate branding; approve materials for distribution (i.e. marketing and creative output for projects).
- Partner with business leaders, support organizations and outsourcing partners to get results which support business objectives: process simplification, cost efficiencies and consistent service delivery; may maintain the relationship with business partners and/or contract with vendors/suppliers.
- Prepare complex reports/analysis for review by Producers. Collaborate with clients, lenders (if applicable) and government agencies (if applicable) to complete tasks.
- Assist in business development opportunities, and help Producers with marketing efforts on new or existing clients.
- Provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
- Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
- Plan and assess appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff. Mentor and coach team members to further develop proficiencies. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
What you'll need
Bachelor's Degree and established experience in Real Estate or Finance.
Real Estate Sales License preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable service to customers.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Expert level user of Microsoft Suite products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Knowledge of ARGUS preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of Capital Markets process.
Work independently as assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department
