Full Job Description:
Darfler Insurance Inc is looking to hire highly motivated individuals who are coachable, have a strong work ethic and excel in a competitive sales environment. We are looking for someone who is excited to have a long-term career where they can grow with one of the fastest growing agencies in the state!
As an Insurance Sales Agent, your primary role is to achieve agency growth through property and casualty insurance sales. You will help grow the agency by prospecting for new customer, quoting and closing new business sales.
As an agency that has been in business a very long time, we have thousands of prospects for our sales agents to work from. You will also grow your pipeline through your own self-generated referrals from the community, social media and other centers of influence.
Qualifications Needed in Order to Apply:
- Property & Casualty license is preferred, if not licensed, must be willing to obtain prior to start date. Don’t worry we can guide you through the process. ***Process can take 2-3 weeks to obtain licensing.
- Prior Sales Experience
- Insurance experience is preferred but not required
- Life & Health license is a plus
- Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
- Proficient in technology with stellar computer skills
- Must be highly motivated, coachable, determined with a positive attitude
- Must be able to problem solve, be adaptable and must possess ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of Sales Agent:
- Primary Responsibility is to Quote and Close new business for agency growth.
- Prospecting for customers with the intent of quoting households, presenting quote proposals, overcoming objections and closing sales to generate new business.
- Build customers relationships through rapport and consistent follow up with prospects.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer support and sell new policies based on our agency value proposition.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
