The Good Feet Store is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Vice President of Sales to join our leadership team in the Des Moines, IA area. As the VP of sales, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing effective strategies, and ensuring the company's overall success and growth.

- Supervise the District Manager Team to include, but not limited to; staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution
- Working through the District Managers’, ensures the proper recruiting, hiring, mentoring, training, development and retaining high performing Sales Consultants
- Work closely with CEO in developing and executing plans, establishing direction and evaluating company performance
- Review and recommend policy and procedural changes
- Monitor store performance and identify where operational improvements can be made, developing sales plans and strategies to achieve company goals
- Oversees goal setting to develop targets for organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify areas of improvement and enhance performance
- Lead the company wide sales team following The Good Feet sales practice and best practices
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
- Work within the organization and build relationships with operational leadership to ensure successful customer experience
- Demonstrate strong product and industry knowledge and ability to articulate our value proposition
- Instill a professional and rigorous Sales Management philosophy that is used throughout the organization
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as a VP of Sales or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
- Ability to travel as much as 35%-45%
