As the Strategy & Business Development Manager, you will perform the following duties:

• Develop and lead strategic projects within the product division together with the division’s top management and the central strategy department of Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg
• Develop framework for the strategic development of the component services product division with focus on North and South America in alignment with Business Segment Components strategy
• Develop and support product and portfolio strategies and strategic co-operations
• Develop business co-operations and lead M&A and joint venture negotiations
• Perform market research on American customer requirements, support global product and aircraft portfolio strategy development and develop regional adaptations in alignment with global Product Managers

• All other duties as assigned or required

You must fulfill the following requirement:

• High school diploma/GED required
• College degree/vocational training required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree desirable
• 3 years’ experience in aviation and/or aviation maintenance sector or business development experience in comparable industry required
• English language required
• German and Spanish language desirable
• Aviation/ aviation maintenance and experienced project leader knowledge required
• MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint as user
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent strategic mindset
• Excellent analytical
• Excellent conceptual thinking/procedure skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
