Job Title: Customer Service Representative Department: Inside Sales
Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of BDA, delivering best in class support experience.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming customer phone calls
- Respond to customer inquiries from email, voicemail, fax and phone, providing excellent customer service
- Process new customer orders from email, voicemail, fax, and phone
- Provide product information and answer questions regarding existing orders
- Evaluate customer needs and determine the best course of action to achieve resolution
- Maintain exceptional attendance and punctuality
- Maintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with internal departments and customers
- Collaborate and work with team members effectively
- Exhibit high levels of customer service to ensure happy customers
- Contribute to overall success of the team by sharing best practices, and being open to learning best practices from other team members and leadership
- Provide assistance to Outside Sales personnel as required – provide timely feedback
- Input all orders into Sales order entry system in a timely manner
- Communicate accurately and succinctly with customers
- Proactively remain current with product knowledge
- Maintain computer and software related skills
- Keep management apprised of customer issues when there is a need to refer to a higher level of management for resolution
- Service customers, providing pricing and product application Information.
- Perform duties inherent to all inside sales employees
- Other job duties and projects as assigned
- Other duties as deemed necessary by upper management.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Accurate and quick keyboarding skills
- Comfortable multitasking with phone and use of multiple computer programs

- Excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of Excel
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year customer service experience preferred.
