Our company is a new behavioral health center and we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving growth and revenue for the startup treatment center by developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies. The Director will be the primary point of contact for potential referral sources and will work closely with the clinical team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to achieve revenue goals and increase patient volume
- Identify and prioritize target markets and develop strategies to attract and retain patients
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, payers, and other key stakeholders in the community
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure alignment between business development efforts and clinical operations
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Participate in networking events and conferences to build the center reputation and increase visibility in the community
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential referral sources and payers to promote the center services
- Work closely with the billing and finance team to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for services rendered
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor and or Master’s degree in Business Administration,
- Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare business development, preferably in substance use treatment or behavioral health; One year of experience in substance use treatment required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement and payer contracting
- Ability to analyze market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, payers, and other key stakeholders in the community
- Experience with sales and marketing in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of substance use treatment and behavioral health services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- The Business Development Director will play a critical role in the success of the startup substance use treatment center by developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare business development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently to achieve revenue goals. The Director must be able to develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and payers without a sales team and have knowledge of substance use treatment and behavioral health services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
