Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Graphic Designer will assist with the design of marketing collateral, including invitations, infographics, handouts, brochures, ads, and publications. The Graphic Designer will design and coordinate electronic invitations using our electronic marketing software; provide website, blog, and social media support; and work on external and internal presentations. The Graphic Designer will work as part of a design team developing print and digital materials that communicate the Firm’s values while maintaining consistency within Jones Day’s brand guidelines.

To provide design services to our west coast and international offices, the hours for this position are from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Thursday; and 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, on Fridays. Hybrid work flexibility is available.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ professional in-house, agency, and/or freelance print and digital design experience is required.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellent original work, with an understanding of typography, color theory, and photography.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members to plan, organize, and execute assigned projects.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS programming beneficial.
