James Monroe Homes is a fast-growing residential home building company based in Lexington Ky. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team.

An Individual that is dedicated to quality and excellence and has the ability to sell 30 – 50 homes per year.
The James Monroe Homes team is passionate about the company, caring for clients, their financial success and always striving for excellence. As a team member, you must be self-motivated and want to be successful. You will be the front-line representation of a company with a reputation for quality construction and treating customers the right way. You will be responsible for leading buyers/prospects to liberate them from all indecision through the buying process.
Location assignment will vary according to the needs of the company and the weekend hours required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage, generate and close sales by utilizing model homes and local resources, and realtor relationships. Show the community, lots, and spec homes to prospects and realtors.
- Initiate marketing ideas and assist in coordinating client functions
- Market the community and company by participation in local events
- Build confidence with potential clients by selling features, benefits, and our company
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients throughout the construction
- Maintain daily model home appearance, Open and close the models and inventory homes
- Maintain client interest by effectively using listening and negotiating skills
- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective buyers and clients and give weekly updates on the progress of homes under construction to new buyers.
- Record, Track, Maintain and follow up with all prospects utilizing the CRM Lasso
Qualifications:
- New Home Sales experience is preferred but not required. No real estate license required
- Familiarity with home building or a desire to learn about home building
- A stable work history that demonstrates the progression of success
- Are you coach-able? We have a proven selling process that gets results
- Qualified candidates must be enthusiastic, positive, organized, tenacious, detail-oriented, computer literate and have strong listening, communication, closing, negotiation skills, and work well with others in a productive environment.
- Proven track record of sales.
- The ability to prioritize competing tasks and focus on the activities that will generate sales and ensure happy homebuyers.
