Fast Stop is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team!

We are a small business in the heart of Saint Gabriel, LA. We are family owned and operated. Our team is made up of people who have been in the business for over 40 years. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys working in a fast paced environment, and is a great team player.

Essential Functions:
Provide customers with an outstanding shopping experience including but not limited to: greeting customers, answering questions, providing assistance with merchandise, and completing returns/exchanges.

• Maintain product knowledge by completing product knowledge and shopping training.
• Merchandise, stock, and clean shelves.
• Process sales by completing sales transactions; closing out accounts; reconciling bank statements; preparing statements; posting payments; and reconciling statements.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform all duties in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations as well as company policies.

Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous retail experience preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
