Our full-service hotel is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in Sales & Marketing with full-service hotels, to join our team as DIRECTOR OF SALES.

The Director of Sales is responsible for conducting outside sales calls, obtaining new business accounts, conducting site tours, networking within the local business community and driving sales. The chosen individual will also be responsible for sales forecasting, the creation of promotional material, and maintaining constant communication with the General Manager to include weekly revenue meetings, action plans, and sales activity logs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a DOS or Sales Manager in the hotel industry required.
  • Full-service hotel with banquet and meeting space experience required.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be an effective salesperson and leader, and able to drive revenue by executing a proactive Sales process.
  • Experience using hotel sales software and property management systems.
