Job Overview
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to develop incremental business growth
- Regularly communicate with customers to set expectations around timing and pricing of products and delivery
- Generate quotes and revise as needed for assigned territory
- Enter orders in ERP and revise as needed for assigned territory
- Review valve drawings, bills of materials, and other customer technical and commercial specifications to prepare and complete proposal
- Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders for a clean order handoff and efficient product delivery
- Develop and propose efficient Prevent Maintenance Plans (PMPs) to support customers with ongoing maintenance and outage preparation
- Check and negotiate the delivery schedule with operation and feeder factory
- Collaborate with Outside Sales counterparts to develop winning strategies and execute company-wide expectations around pricing
- Direct follow up with customer on quote submittals to drive orders to close
- Develop and support internally led campaigns to execute company growth strategies
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Sales is preferred, preferably in Technical Sales
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Flow control industry; valves, power, oil & gas experience is preferred
- Passionate about providing value-added service to our customers and striving to exceed their expectations
- Adaptability to work on a variety of assignments and projects and adjust plans depending on changing priorities
- Team player attitude with a strong desire to contribute to the larger business growth goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in English
- Experience with using an ERP is preferred
- Experience with using Salesforces is preferred
