Founded in 2001, Happytail Puppies is a close knit group of friends and families that are committed to breeding and adopting out the healthiest and happiest puppies. Our headquarters is in Oak Ridge, North Carolina.

The fact that each family has a licensed and inspected home kennel, allowing each of our families to provide hands-on tender loving care for every mommy, daddy, and puppy each day. Our goal at Happytail Puppies is to find the perfect family match for
each of our puppies. Our puppies being adopted into the most loving, caring, and safe homes is of utmost importance to us. We want our customers to experience the same joy and love we get to experience every day!

The position

This role adds to our existing team to expand our presence and client base over the next few years. This position is ideal for the person who is passionate about helping people. (Being a dog lover is also a positive). As Happytail Puppies has expanded rapidly over 2020 and 2021, now is a great time to get on board with HTP to grow your career.

The Successful Candidate

We recognize that Customer Service/Sales just isn’t for everyone (it can be a tough job after all) and that no one individual will have all the attributes of the perfect person. That said, there are some qualities that we really like. We want someone who is a self-starter, someone who wants to earn good money by providing a much-needed service. We will help you with direction and knowledge, but it’s up to you to put the work in to gain the most from the position.

The Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for answering inbound calls and replying to live chats and emails from prospective clients.

• You will develop accounts, make calls, and send emails to generate interest and explain the benefits of HTP.

• Cultivate leads by making warm calls, calling on accounts and developing expertise within key breeds and products.

• Most interactions will be by phone, email, chats, and video calls.

• Educate customers about breeds, inventory, training, and products.

The Requirements

• You will have at least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.

• Be detail-oriented and organized.

• Be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced**, energetic environment.

• Be extremely friendly, positive, upbeat, energetic, and have great communication and customer service skills.

• Have the capacity to work independently and take initiative.

• Be a strong team player.

• Have excellent phone and computer skills.

• Have strong work ethics.

• Have a passion for learning.

• Enjoy working in a positive environment with fabulous clientele.

• Have experience in developing opportunities from inbound customer calls.

• Have experience in using CRM’s.

• You take your work seriously, but not necessarily yourself!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
