Full description of the position

POSTION SUMMARY:

Are you ready to join a US Best Managed Company?! Kent Precision Foods Group (KPFG) is looking for a Regional Sales Manager located in the Eastern US region for our Personal Nutrition Solutions (PNS) team. This role is to build national & regional account contacts and develop relationships with select accounts and distributors. This position will drive engagement in our PNS category. This position offers a complete benefits package.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Be recognized as a subject matter leader on KPFG products portfolio, policies and processes.
  • Provide clear directions to PNS sales and marketing goals assigned for the territory you will be managing.
  • Educate healthcare industry through in-service training, GPO Presentations, meeting with Distributor Healthcare Specialists, Corporate Dieticians and Contract Management Companies on product line.
  • Provide feedback to the PNS marketing brand manager on successes and challenges in your market.
  • Develop Brokers and Contracted sales teams as brand experts. Make sure they understand our message and vision for Personal Nutritional Solutions.
  • Present and manage regional trade show events in your territory and contribute to National shows.
  • Lead and conduct business review meetings on an annual or semiannual basis with brokers and accounts.
  • Assess opportunities within the accounts, prioritize and develop sales plan.
  • Coordinate plans and activities with the broker partners to drive sales results. Take the lead with the distributor, work with the broker partners to ensure priorities and responsibilities are clear and plans are effectively executed.
  • Responsible for delivering top and bottom line growth and objectives.
  • Execute new KPFG product and promotional initiatives with brokers, distributors and accounts.
  • Demonstrated strong solution selling skills. Pioneer new accounts.
  • Coordinate and participate in show events as required throughout the year.
  • Resolve product quality issues immediately if issues arise.
  • Involvement with regional and vertical broker hiring, training and development.
  • Sales forecasting and inventory management with Director of Sales.
  • Prompt handling of short pay/deduction/rebate programs as requested by Director of Sales, Customer Service or Controller.
  • Maintenance of all documentation to customer service on special pricing accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred or 5+ years of relevant sales experience

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extended Care/Post-Acute sales experience beneficial
  • Valid Driver's license and good driving record
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of P&L and budgets
  • Personable, Professional, Confident, Ability to Multi Task
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Computer communication skills both internally and externally
  • Generate presentations needed of the sales calls that you are managing
  • Ability to manage and motivate people
  • Established problem solving ability and time management skills, prioritize
  • Proven self-starter and strong work ethic
