MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide high-level service to both internal Sales Staff and external Barbour retail partners with specific responsibility for pro-active and accurate customer order maintenance.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Take incoming calls from retailers, sales reps and potential dealers to place orders, change existing orders, inquire about product availability and gather product detail information.
2. Receive orders via email, fax, phone and EDI and accurately input and maintain order until product is received by customer. Support EDI data import and continually monitor product hold, product availability and reallocate product as needed.
3. Receive in-season orders via phone, fax, email, EDI, and stock app, research availability of style, size, etc., and accurately process order for shipment by warehouse. Support sale of in-season product by suggesting replacement styles for out-of-stock merchandise to meet and or/increase in-season trade sales goals.
4. Develop a high level of product knowledge via seminar, internet research and catalogue. Use this background to provide detailed information to customers via phone and email.
5. Develop strong partnerships with Key Account Manager and Brand Manager teams to effectively support sales and customer relationships.
6. Research and resolve customer inquiries and concerns regarding product delivery and/or product quality.
7. Run daily reports to effectively track and monitor the influx of product to third-party warehouse and the on-going shipment of customer orders. Pro-actively manage the timely shipment of goods and resolve any issues that would cause delay.
8. Partner with Credit Manager regarding customer account status to assist in the resolution of credit hold to facilitate release of customer order for shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
1 – 2 years’ experience in a customer focused environment.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Fully computer proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong Excel skill and Outlook specifically.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
