Full description of the position
The VP of Business Development for Kamran and Company LLC is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new customers and expanding bidding opportunities for our organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify potential customers, projects, and opportunities aligned with our company's strengths and capabilities.
- Nurture leads from initial identification to customer acceptance, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate services and solutions.
- Acquire new customers while increasing share of wallet from existing customers.
Design / Pre-Construction:
- Comprehend customer requirements and collaborate with the design team to present tailored company solutions.
- Review and understand project documents at a conceptual and schematic level.
- Deliver accurate budgets from conceptual and schematic design phases through final estimates, aligning with organizational goals and strategy.
Estimating:
- Collaborate with internal estimators to generate precise budgets from conceptual and schematic design phases through final estimates, in line with organizational goals and strategy.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals, bid packages, and client information.
Bid Process:
- Present bid packages to customers, effectively showcasing our company's strengths to improve win rates and margins.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns to secure acceptance and achieve growth objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, business development, or estimating.
- Possess current relationships with multiple large general contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is desirable.
- Availability to travel as required for business purposes.
