Full description of the position

As the Director of Commercial Lines at Neptune Flood, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our commercial flood insurance products. This position demands an individual with proven expertise in Commercial MGA or broker environments, as you will be responsible for spearheading the expansion of our commercial flood business through strategic planning, business development, and relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business plan to promote Neptune Flood's commercial flood insurance products and services. Commercial flood at Neptune includes both commercial lines and RCBAP policies for condominiums.
• Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with commercial insurance MGAs, brokers, agents, and other key stakeholders in the industry.
• Identify and target potential commercial clients to expand the company's commercial flood insurance portfolio.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt and refine business strategies accordingly.
• Manage partnerships and opportunities in our CRM system.
• Identify, assist, and close SOV (statement of values) projects.
• Travel to visit partners in-market.
• Attend industry conferences/events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in Commercial MGA or broker sales roles within the insurance industry.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial lines business development, including building and managing profitable relationships.
• Strong understanding of the commercial insurance market.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Existing network and connections within the commercial insurance sector.
• Knowledge on flood insurance (NFIP included)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
