Megatel Homes is currently looking for a Sales Assistant to work on-site in the DFW area. The right candidate will be responsible for performing all basic Sales clerical duties and assure an efficient and professional flow of information to and from Sales Centers, Buyers, and the Corporate Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• The Sales Assistant provides operational support for the Model Homes and Sales Consultants to deliver an exceptional Sales experience to both buyers and our builder customers
• Develop an understanding of the selection process and maintain selections to ensure up to date and accurate
• Facilitate sales appointments and scheduling
• Prepares and maintains the home buyer folder for each appointment
• Obtain pricing and research special requests for design appointments
• Provide assistance in answering customer calls and emails
• Creating, presenting, and discussing product and design solutions
• Engaging customers to determine their needs according to taste, lifestyle, and investment
• Willingness to work weekends, some evenings, and holidays

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
• Ability to multitask effectively and within time constraints
• Excel in effective and positive communications
• Work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Passion for sales
• Ability to listen and translate customer wants into design choices
